We want you to be confident trying Privly. This Refund Policy explains when we provide refunds for paid plans and how to request one.
Free trials
If you’re on a free plan or a free trial, you won’t be charged during that period. If you cancel before a paid subscription starts, you won’t be billed.
Refund eligibility
If you are charged and Privly isn’t a fit, you can request a refund for your first paid subscription payment within 7 days of the charge date.
Duplicate or unauthorized charges: If you believe you were charged incorrectly (for example, a duplicate charge) or a payment was unauthorized, contact us immediately and we will investigate and refund where appropriate.
Refunds are not guaranteed for:
- Renewal payments after the first paid subscription payment
- Partial billing periods (we don’t typically offer prorated refunds)
- Add-ons or one-time purchases (if introduced) unless explicitly stated at checkout
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights you may have under applicable law. If a refund is required by law, we will comply.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address on your Privly account and include:
- Your account email
- The date of the charge
- If available: invoice/receipt ID from the payment confirmation
- A short description of the issue (optional, but helps us improve)
Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We can’t send refunds to a different card, bank account, or payment method.
Processing time
If your refund is approved, we’ll process it promptly. Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. Once processed, your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Automatic renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices may include taxes (such as VAT/GST) where applicable and will be shown at checkout.
Access after a refund
If a refund is issued, we may disable access to the paid plan immediately.
Disputes / chargebacks
If you have a billing issue, please contact support first so we can help. Filing a chargeback may delay resolution.
Legal rights (EU/UK)
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. Where applicable, you may have a 14-day withdrawal right. If you request immediate access to digital services, you may lose this right once the service is provided, or you may owe a proportional amount as required by law.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges. Canceling typically keeps access until the end of your current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
