    What an opportunity means

An opportunity is a public conversation that may show a real need, buying signal, or useful reason to engage. Privly explains why it matched your profile, but you make the final decision.

    Review the evidence

    1. 1Open the opportunity and read its match reason and source evidence.
    2. 2Open the original conversation to confirm the full context and timing.
    3. 3Mark a strong match as relevant or save it for later.
    4. 4Dismiss a weak match so your workspace stays focused.
    5. 5Prepare a public reply or direct message when the source supports it.

Opportunity and lead status are different

Saving a conversation does not automatically add a person to your lead directory. Opportunities track public conversations; Leads tracks people you may contact and their outreach history.
